The Community

As a new user, you are trying to learn as much as possible in the least amount of time possible, so that you can be up and running with Informz as soon as possible. While we do our best to provide as much knowledge as possible, you might also like to hear what your colleagues at other organizations do with Informz.

This type of peer input is particularly helpful when you are trying to get insights not just on how to use a feature, but how to incorporate Informz into an organization's process. For example, let's say you are trying to formulate a "win back" strategy for your organization. Re-engaging an association member is different from re-engaging a donor at a nonprofit, which are both different from winning back a customer at a commercial organization. Hearing from people that have "been there, done that" can be incredibly helpful to you.


Getting into The Community is easy!

Click the Community button on the toolbar.

When you arrive at the home page of The Community, there are three things that people usually do. These are outlined in the following sub-sections.

Recent Posts

The most recent posts to The Community are front and center on the home page. Simply click on any post that looks interesting to you.


Move to the upper right corner and click into the search tool, and type what you are searching for, to look for posts about a specific topic.


There is always a lot to discover by simply browsing around The Community. The Open Forum has the most content, so start there.

Click on the Open Forum menu item at the top of the page.

Scroll through the posts in this community and click on those that interest you.

The vibrancy of a community is directly related to how many people contribute. That little thing that you do could be just the bit of insight that some other user needs to be more productive or even more inspired. Don't be afraid to share in The Community.
